Kota Kinabalu's neighbourhood animal clinic

Compassionate care,
clear communication.

From routine check-ups to vaccinations and treatment, our vets take the time to explain what's going on with your pet β€” and what happens next. We look beyond physical health, too, considering your pet's behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life, because a truly healthy pet is one who feels good, not just one who looks well.

About Gaia Veterinary Clinic

From routine check-ups to vaccinations and treatment, our vets take the time to explain what's going on with your pet β€” and what happens next. We look beyond physical health, too, considering your pet's behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life, because a truly healthy pet is one who feels good, not just one who looks well.

We look beyond physical health, too. Behaviour, emotional wellbeing, environment, and quality of life all matter when it comes to keeping pets truly healthy and happy.

We're a small, local clinic in Kota Kinabalu, and we like it that way. The same familiar faces greet you at the door, and your pet's history is never just a file number.

We also believe prevention starts early, which is why we offer puppy classes and dog training to help build confident, well-adjusted dogs and stronger relationships between pets and their humans.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to book in advance?

For routine visits (consultations, vaccinations), booking ahead β€” online or by phone β€” helps us keep wait times short. Walk-ins are welcome when we have room, but a booked slot is guaranteed.

What if it's an emergency?

Please call us directly rather than booking online β€” emergencies need to be triaged immediately, not scheduled.

What should I bring to my pet's first visit?

Any previous medical records or vaccination history you have, a list of current medications, and β€” if possible β€” a fresh stool sample for a routine check.

Do you offer prescription refills without a visit?

For some ongoing conditions, yes β€” give us a call and we'll let you know if a refill needs a check-up first.

What you can book online

These visit types are available for instant online requests. Anything else β€” surgery, hospitalisation, or a first-time concern you're not sure about β€” just give us a call.

Submit a request below and our front desk will confirm it shortly by phone or email.
